Cameron Heke

Photo by Mike RidewoodCameron is a senior public relations generalist with 15 years experience in issues management, community relations, internal communications, and media relations.

Cameron’s strength is in helping clients herd big ideas into tangible, workable strategic plans that can be driven home through solid tactical delivery.

He has honed that expertise while working for The City of Calgary’s Emergency Medical Services, The City of Calgary’s public affairs division, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Environment Canada, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, and other organizations.

Today he works as the Manager, Media and Public Relations / External Affairs and Communications with the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society (STARS) where he acts as the Canadian media relations spokesperson and coordinator.

In addition to his work experience, Cameron also holds a Bachelor of Applied Communication, Public Relations from Mount Royal University.
